We wanted this for our own lives.

It started on a trip to Nova Scotia — the kind of place that makes you want to call everyone you love and say you have to see this. We stood there, each of us carrying a supercomputer in our pocket, connected to nearly everyone on the planet. And yet — nothing but strangers, ads, and noise on the other end of it.

So we asked ourselves: what if every post was from someone you actually knew? A few years and a small team later, that question became Cliick. A place to check in, share ordinary life, then go live it. No noise at all. Just room for what matters.

You should know who is asking for your trust.

The best way to keep a secret is not to know it.

Most apps collect everything and promise to behave. We went the other way, early, when it was expensive and nobody was watching.

There’s no field for your email. No place a phone number would go. Your name is whatever you typed, and you can change it tonight. Ask our servers whether you’re in here and they won’t answer — not to be coy, that’s just how they’re built.

If we don’t have it, we can’t sell it — or lose it.

How we know

We never ask. Sign in with Apple or Google and they tell us one thing: that you’re you. Not your name, not your email — just an id that means nothing anywhere else. We don’t ask for your phone number or your address, and we would have nothing to do with them. The app never asks your phone for your contacts, and the stores handle payment, so your card never comes near us. We need just enough to know it’s you and hand you your things. The rest is a hazard — for you, and for us.

What Cliick holds

  • A display name, up to 30 characters
  • A profile image, a color, a mascot
  • Which sign‑in you used, as an opaque id
  • Your Cliicks, and what you have shared in them

What we don’t ask for

  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your contacts
  • Your mailing address
  • Credit card information

What’s missing
is the whole point.

No public profiles

It’s not a setting. It’s a fact. You control who sees you. Period.

No public search

No directory. No index. No name to type in. The only way in is a QR code you hand out yourself.

No AI training

Not your photos. Not your messages. Not your kids’ faces. There is no AI in here at all.

Delete means delete

Gone for everyone, not just hidden for you. The greater good is privacy and control for all.

A QR code you can change

Put it online somewhere. Regret it tomorrow. Change your QR code and you’ve ghosted the world.

Nothing is watching you

Nobody counts your taps or times how long you linger. Nothing in here is keeping score.

Built independently.
Built with love.

Cliick is self‑funded and independently built. A small team of early believers gave their time and heart to help make it real. We’re grateful for that.

We want to earn your trust — and keep earning it.
