About Cliick

What is Cliick?

Cliick is your private network — a clean start with the people who matter most. No ads, no algorithms, no strangers; just your people and the moments you want to share with them.

Who is Cliick for?

Cliick is for anyone who wants to connect with people they actually know, without ads and algorithms deciding what they see. It's a way to stay close to the people who matter to you — where everyone in your feed is someone you chose to let in.

Is Cliick social media?

No, Cliick isn't social media. Sure, there's some overlap — a feed, posts, photos, comments, group chats — just without the strangers, the ads, and the algorithm deciding what you see. Imagine if every post in your feed were from someone you actually know. That's the whole idea.

Can I build a following on Cliick?

No — Cliick is built for connection, not an audience. No followers, no public profiles, no way to reach strangers. What you get instead: small circles where what you share is actually seen, not buried under a follower count. If you're here to grow a brand, this isn't the place — but if you want the people who matter to actually see you, it very much is.

Can I use Cliick for my business?

Cliick doesn't support public pages or brand accounts. That said, plenty of people use private Cliicks for small teams, local groups, and professional circles where everyone knows each other. If that fits your situation, you're in the right place.

What's with the bird?

That's Fluffy — our baby chick mascot, emotional support chicken, and tiny ambassador of joy. He's playful, curious, and slightly ridiculous. You'll know him when you see him.

What's a Peep?

Peeps are the people you share with most — your inner circle, all gathered in one Cliick called My Peeps. It's your default share: when you've got something to post, My Peeps is the no-thought-needed place to send it. And it's personal to you — everyone's Peeps are different, no one can see who's in yours, and sharing a friend doesn't mean sharing Peeps. You just decide who belongs closest.

Privacy & Safety

What is my Hatch Number?

Your Hatch Number is the order you joined Cliick — yours alone, shared with no one. At signup you're also assigned a Mascot, a little chicken from our flock, separate from your profile picture. Names and photos can be copied, but your Mascot and Hatch Number can't — together, they confirm a profile is really yours.

How do people find me on Cliick?

On Cliick, profiles aren't public or searchable, and that's by design. It puts you in control: you're reachable on your own terms. Share your QR code when you want to connect, and refresh it anytime — any code you shared before stops working instantly.

What information does Cliick collect about me?

As little as possible. To run the app we keep a random sign-in ID provided by Apple or Google, anything you choose to add to your profile (like a display name or photo), the messages and media you share inside your Cliicks, and basic technical data needed for security and reliability. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, or advertising IDs, and we don't use analytics or tracking SDKs. Our Privacy Policy breaks down every category in detail if you want the full picture.

Does Cliick have ads or sell my data?

No — and never will. We don't run ads, we don't track you, and we don't sell or share your data with anyone. No sponsored posts, no data brokers, no exceptions. Your Cliicks are yours alone.

How does Cliick make money?

Cliick is member-funded — paid for by the people who use it, not advertisers, trackers, or data brokers. It's the difference that shapes all the others: an app funded by advertisers serves advertisers; an app funded by its Members serves its Members. You're our customer, not our product. Exactly as it should be.

Does Cliick use my content to train AI?

No. Your posts, photos, and interactions belong to you. Cliick will never use them to train AI models.

Who moderates a Cliick?

Each Cliick is self-moderated by its owner, who creates the space, invites people in, and handles reports for that cliick. If a post is reported, the report goes privately to the owner — not to the group. The owner can choose to remove the post, remove a member, or take no action. Cliick doesn't use automated moderation inside private Cliicks — these spaces depend on the judgment of the people in them. For serious concerns, you can contact Cliick through our support page.

Can I remove or report someone?

Yes. Every Cliick has tools to remove a member or report a post. See "Who moderates a Cliick?" for how it works.

Getting Started

How do I join?

Download Cliick on iOS or Android and sign in with Apple or Google — no email, no phone number, no contact-list scan. Once in, choose a name and add a photo. That's it, you're in.

Why does my feed start empty?

Cliick starts empty so you can build it around the real people you know and care about. If you were invited to a Cliick, your feed will fill once you accept. Invite your people, and once they accept, they're in.

How do I connect with someone?

Share your profile — QR code if you're together, a link if you're not (text, email, Instagram, AirDrop, whatever). They scan or tap, your profile opens in Cliick, and they tap Connect. Either of you can start it.

Wait — I can't search for anyone?

Correct. That's the best part. No public search means no strangers finding you, no directory of your life, no algorithm playing matchmaker.

What if my QR code is compromised?

If your QR code is being misused or shared without your permission, refresh it anytime — old codes stop working instantly, but all existing connections stay in place. Cliick is invite-only, so every connection stays intentional.

How do I invite someone to a Cliick?

If you're already connected, open the Cliick's profile and use the Add tab — or go to the member's profile and use the Invite To tab. Not connected yet? Just share the Cliick's QR code or link the same way you'd share anything; they tap Join, and the request goes to the owner to approve.

How do I know when I have a new invite or request?

When something needs your eyes — a new invite, a connection request, or an account update — the mail icon up top lights up. Tap it to see what's new.

Posting & Messaging

How do I share a post?

Tap the + button up top, pick what you're sharing — a photo, a video, a few words — and choose which Cliick it goes to. Done. It lands in that Cliick's feed for everyone in it to see, newest first.

Is Cliick chronological?

Yes — always. Everything appears in the order it was shared, with no algorithm, no boosted posts, and no buried updates. What you see is simply what happened, in order.

Who sees what I post?

You decide. When you post, you choose which Cliick it goes into, and only the people in that Cliick will see it. Nothing is pushed, suggested, or crossed into another Cliick unless you put it there. That said, it's still the internet — if someone downloads your content and shares it elsewhere, that's outside our control.

Can I direct-message someone?

Yes. Tap their profile and message away — no separate inbox to dig through. You can only DM people you share a Cliick with or have connected with directly. No cold opens, no strangers sliding in, no algorithm pushing you toward conversations you didn't ask for.

Can I control who messages me?

Yes. Messages from your Peeps come through directly. Anyone else sends a message request first, giving you the choice to accept or decline before the conversation begins. You stay in control of who gets your attention.

Does Cliick have group chat?

Yes. Each Cliick can have its own group chat, turned on or off by the Cliick owner. To open it, tap the Cliick's profile. Only members of that Cliick can see the conversation, and nothing carries over into another space.

Managing Your Cliicks

Can I leave a Cliick?

Yes. You can leave any Cliick at any time — no explanation needed.

How do I retire a Cliick?

Only a Cliick's owner can retire it. When you're ready to wind one down, you've got three ways:

  • Archive — park it. The Cliick moves to your archived area and stays available to members as read-only. Changed your mind? Restore it and pick up where you left off.
  • Decommission — a scheduled wind-down. The Cliick stays active for two weeks so members can say goodbye, swap contact info, and save what they want — then it's archived automatically. Hit restore before the timer runs out and it's cancelled.
  • Delete — permanent. Everything inside is gone for every member — posts, messages, photos, videos, comments — and deleted Cliicks can't be restored.
Can I delete my account?

Yes — you can delete your account at any time, and on Cliick, delete means delete. Deleting your account also deletes every Cliick you own, permanently removing all posts, messages, photos, and shared content for every member. There's no restore, so make sure you're ready before you do.

Membership & Pricing

Do I have to pay to use Cliick?

No — be our guest. You get the real thing: full Cliick, no time limit, no ads, with Cliicks for you and up to five friends so you can feel how private sharing actually works. We host you because we'd rather you experience Cliick than read about it — and when you're ready for bigger circles, you can become a Premium Member. No countdown trials. Connection shouldn't have a clock on it.

Why become a Premium Member?

Become a Premium Member because you believe the people in your life deserve a space built for them. Because your life doesn't belong on a billboard. Because peace of mind isn't a feature — it's the whole point. Premium Membership is what makes Cliick possible — and keeps the table set for the next guest. Stay as our guest as long as you like; join whenever you're ready.

What happens to my Cliicks if I downgrade?

Nothing disappears. Your Cliicks and everything in them stay safe. Any Cliick larger than the free size (you and five others) goes read-only — your memories stay visible, you just can't post to the bigger ones until you trim them back under the limit or restart Premium Membership. Pick up right where you left off anytime.

Kids & Families

Is Cliick for kids?

Cliick is not available for children under 13. For teens, use of Cliick should be guided by a parent or guardian. Cliick doesn't provide parental controls or a dashboard, so families are responsible for deciding if it's appropriate and staying involved in how it's used. Each Cliick is managed by its own members, and families should set their own expectations for safe and respectful use.

Is Cliick designed with younger users in mind?

Let's be clear: Cliick is not built specifically for kids. What it does offer is real structural advantages — it's strictly private and built on chosen connections, with no strangers, nothing searchable, and no algorithm pushing unknown content at anyone. People only see what's shared inside Cliicks they create, join, or are invited into. That structure can reduce common risks of public platforms, but it doesn't replace family guidance — parents should decide whether Cliick is right for their teen and stay involved where needed.

Features & Tips

How do I see just one Cliick at a time?

Your feed brings everything together in one timeline, newest first — need some focus? That's what the chicken's for: give it a tap (yep, it's a button, not just a logo) and your dashboard fans out — all your Cliicks and connections in one place. Tap one to filter your feed to just them, or press and hold to hop into their profile.

Can I pin people and Cliicks?

Yes. Long-press any profile to launch a profile window, then pin any Cliick or person you want to appear first in the Chicken Feed — handy for the ones you use most.
